OFA3 5-Day Challenge - Victoria, BC - July 23 - 27

Practical and theory sessions totaling 35 hours. Students must have had the OFA 3 previously. Does not include course textbooks.

Prerequisites: Students for this course must present a copy of their previous OFA 3 certificate at the time of registration. Course medical required.

The final written and practical exams are, subject to confirmation, held on the Monday following the course. The final exams are not part of the total course hours.

Please allow one full day for the examination process and up to five business days after the completion of your exam for us to prepare your certificate.

We require a copy of your previous OFA 3 Certificate or other pre-hospital care course (greater than 70 hours) certificate prior to the completion of final certification.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE: As of starting January 01, 2010 the Occupational First Aid Medical Certificate of Fitness is no longer required. It has been replaced by the OCCUPATIONAL FIRST AID STATEMENT OF FITNESS that will be handed out at the course. You are required to complete and sign this form on the first day of your course.

TEXTBOOKS: The course textbooks are not included in the challenge course cost. If you wish a set of the textbooks the cost is currently $75.00. Once you have registered and made payment arrangements, we can arrange to deliver the textbooks to you.

For students who do not have a previous WorkSafe BC OFA 3 certification: 
A student who does not have a previous OFA 3 certification but otherwise qualifies to take the challenge course, must purchase the course textbooks and complete the reading and homework prior to the class starting. The OFA 3 5-Day Challenge Course pre-reading outline is available as a PDF. These students must complete the “OFA 3 5-Day Challenge Entry Exam” prior to the course starting and get it in to us for marking before they attend class.
