Red Cross First Aid Instructor Course

Course Goals:

This 32 hour course is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills to teach core Red Cross First Aid & CPR courses:

  • Emergency and Standard First Aid
  • CPR/AED
  • Marine Basic First Aid 
  • Emergency and Standard Child Care First Aid

 

 We will include how to teach and facilitate, individual and group assignments, practice teaching, injury prevention principles,inclusion and progressive learning!

Course Outcome:

Upon successful completion of this program there will be a period of mentoring required to evaluate your training has satisfied the minimum requirements of the Red Cross standards. Once this practicum is completed you will hold certification as a Red Cross First Aid Instructor. This certification will be valid for a period of 3 years.


Course Requirements: 

Proof of current Standard First Aid with CPR-HCP
